(no subject)
Today was my first day at Redners, it was really easy I must say so.. & it seems to be ok. I'm not that quick though & it's hard trying to be quick & remembering to do everything right when you're just learning. Thankfully I like to think that I'm quite intelligent & I learn things fast =) However I've always been kind of a "slow" worker, it's just how I am.. deal with it haha.
The job is easy, I'm just not so sure about the environment if that makes sense. I don't know if I'll really fit in .. or anything like that, that's what makes me most nervous, but we'll see I suppose in time.
Oh & haha.. I'm learning all this stuff right now.. & in like.. 2months they're getting new register systems, so everyone will have to get used to that & i'll have to relearn it hahah. go figure.
Here's my schedule for the rest of this week
Tuesday - 12pm-5:30pm Redners
Wednesday - OFF
Thursday - 1pm-6pm JCP
Friday - 9am-4pm Redners
Saturday - 1:30pm-7:30pm Redners.
Not too bad atleast I'll be making money. I know I'm going to end up quitting JCP, but honestly I will miss it, I like working there, it's easy, I get paid $8.00/hr (which by July minimum wage WILL be $7.15/hr, so thats not too bad of a difference) & also at JCP, in March i'd be getting trained for Customer Care, I don't WANT to do customer care, so yeah, there's that to factor in too.. OH & also the fact that I'm on SECOND Corrective at JCP, so yeah. Whatevvver though
These jobs are just part times jobs and are NOT my careers, so that is something I have to remember, mhmm.
