My Melbourne Melbourne apartment's falling down *sung to Fergie's London Bridge song*
My brother, John's just emailed me to let me know about what the Insurance Inspectors (organized by the Real Estate Agents and owner) said about the crack in the balcony wall furthest away from my apartment door.
In his words:
"Yeah, Inspectors came this morning to check the crack on the wall. Apparently our apartment moved like 0.5cm.
But they think it's safe. Well, we are safe anyway. Because apparently it's concaving inwardly. And we're on the corners. So if shit does happened, we won't be the one's getting pancaked. Hahaha."
What he meant was that the whole wall along the apartment is concaving inwards (but since we're right on the corner, it's the most stable) and the middle few apartments are F***ED!!
Lol! I'm so glad I'm moving out in December. I hear the owners are selling the place anyways.
