Optus has just put in a new voice automated system. So, whenever you call in, you won't be required to punch in numbers but instead required to speak your request to a voice recognition machine.
Sounds good in theory but the result was disastrous!!
Me (as heard by my work colleagues): yes *waits as the voice recognition machine DID NOT UNDERSTAND ME*
