Rough times with computers and work

First off, I've about had it with my computer's internet connection.  The damn thing takes ten minutes and a few tries turning things off and back on before it'll even recognize a connection.  And then it still won't load any web pages for at least another five minutes and a couple more rounds of Off/On.  Seriously, I'm not happy.  Especially since

Different setting, but same situation - It sucks, because I really pride myself on trying view everyone as equals (I do discriminate against assholes and idiots though).

Sorry to hear about the incident at the restaurant. Sometimes, people just want someone to blame, and I guess you were the target. But I know you well, and I know that you're about as far away from racist as possible, and so does everyone else who knows you. :) So...no worries.
