Yay for Apartments!

It's finally that time!  On Tuesday, I finally moved into the new apartment in Birmingham!  I was SOOOO ready to be here again.  And it was great to spend some time with Molly.  Stephanie gets here tomorrow, with the couch so we'll actually have somewhere to sit in the living room!

I am seriously loving the apartment.  We have a pretty big living room, a dining room, a nice kitchen (even if the appliances are a little old), three bedrooms, and two bathrooms.  I have the second bedroom down the hall, and Steph and I will share a bathroom.  My bedroom is the only one without perks...Steph has a balcony entrance, and Molly has a ceiling fan and larger closets.  It was originally arranged that way because I wouldn't be here for half the year.  But I don't mind at all, I like my room!

Molly's been in North Carolina since Wednesday, so I've had the apartment to myself for the last few days.  Mom and Dad came down last night to take me to dinner and help set up a few things.  Dad helped me attach my headboard to the bedframe, and Mom and I discussed potential layouts for the furniture in my room.  We ordered a desk and matching bookshelf from Office Max that should get here sometime next week.  I'm going shopping for a comforter and frames for my posters today, then Steph and I will look for bathroom stuff once she gets here.  It's starting to take shape!  Pretty soon it'll actually look like an apartment! :-D

We have cable set up, and we're not planning on getting a phone line (so you'll still need my cell phone number if you want to call me), but we still don't have internet.  Hence, I am typing this entry from a computer terminal in Samford's library.  Samford was closer than BSC.  But Steph's got the wireless router, so we should have internet up and running soon.

Ok, I think that's enough apartment talk for now, and I also think I should go eat the leftover cheesy fries from Wings that are currently sitting in my refrigerator.  Or maybe a sandwich.  We'll see. :-) If you're in the B'ham area, call me!  I'd love to see you!
