Today is the one month mark. In exactly one month from today, I will be on a plane to Chile. I have to say that I'm just a tad nervous. About a lot. And honestly, a lot more than just this trip, too. I know this trip won't be a walk in the park, but I've been preparing for it a while now. I pretty much know what to expect (at least, as much as I can know before I actually get there). To be perfectly honest, I'm more nervous about everything to come after I get BACK.
I need to take the GRE. Normally, I would take it during the fall, but I will unfortunately be a little out of jurisdiction. I'm considering taking it in July before I leave, but I'm not sure I'll be adequately prepared for it. Any advice from anyone who's taken it before? Keep in mind that they're changing the test in October, and I've heard from some people that it's supposed to be HARDER once they change it. I'm trying to decide if it would be worth it to take the easier test with less prep. Sigh.
I'm also considering taking at least a semester off after graduation. It would give me time to give real thought and preparation to the grad school thing, I could make some money, and get some "real world" experience before I jump into grad school. Plus the fact that I still have NO IDEA what I want to actually DO! Again: Sigh. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I hate making decisions that could potentially affect the entire outcome of my life. Or is that a little "glass half-empty" of me?
On the upside, I actually have a closet now! There's crap all over my room and in the hallway, but the closet is cleaned out! I haven't had a usable closet in at least 5 years. :-)
