Wow. Eleventh grade still hasn't killed me yet. That's... pretty amazing. :D
The first few rehearsals for Our Town have been awesome. I love our cast, and everyone gets along great. Feels a little bit like a family. (Speaking of families, my "family" has pretty evenly divided genes. Jacob and Marcel are both dark-haired, while Lucy and I are pale and blonde. XD Awesome casting there, Mr. O'Neil.)
PFD = greatest class ever. We color stuff and take personality quizzes. It's AWESOME. On Thursday, Kaitlyn and I talked about anime and drew unicorns on our worksheet. Nothing else. Nobody cared. I love free credits.
However, Algebra II/AP US History/Psychology =/= free credits. I swear those three classes will end me. Algebra because math has NEVER been my friend and there is so. much. homework. AP US History... well, let's just say those extra ten AP points are going to be my saving grace. And Psych? WHY DID I TAKE THIS CLASS?! It's full of memorization and scientists trying to justify animal testing. If I didn't have Anna and Ivana in that class, I would most definitely have dropped it in the first week. I do love Mrs. Gerace, though. I guess I just have to try a little harder...
In other news, I'm a little obsessed with the works of Tsuda Mikiyo. Day of Revolution and Princess Princess are both really great manga about looking past gender and being yourself. In all honesty I was hesitant about reading DoR at first, since Megumi struck me as a flat character in PuriPuri. Man, was I wrong. DoR really gives you insight as to why she's so calm and at peace with herself. And I just adore Mikoto/Megumi. :3 Those two rock.
You know, for some reason I've been on a roll with my writing lately. I've been turning in some great essays in English (and now have my FIRST A EVER in that class) and have filled a couple of spirals with random drabbles. AR, White Moon, Incarnate, Learning Opportunities... all of my stories. :) And I've been contemplating posting my writing here for you guys to critique. I dunno. I'll come back to that later.
Much Love,
Tisbee
