aberdeen
Well have now been in Aberdeen for just under a fortnight...almost every box unpacked, bookcases built and wardrobe filled. Feels kinda like home but still a bit odd. Kitten has settled in and rules the roost as per usual. THe last couple of weeks has involved an introduction to ENT my new speciality for the next 6 months. It is quite fun, fairly relaxed and I get to do oncalls from home which is nice...especially as I live 10 minute walk from the hospital! It doesn mean i have to leran how to suck out ears, stop nose blleds and scope throats so new techniques but quite fun.
Last week saw me turning a quarter of a century which was quiet but nice. Ian's folks were up and we were midst building wardrobes so it did involved a trip to B&Q and Costco! Got some lovely pressies and a fantastic box of goodies delivered from thistle scientific courtesy of The Family.
So surviving in new town, has actually been quite sunny recently and folks I'm working with are really nice!
