hmm...so it feels like it should be wednesday but I'm afraid it is probably still only Sunday..sigh. Orthopaedic nights are quite different from other types of nights I've done. Generally I have less things going on so less stressful, but as I don't really know what to do with most of the thing I do have to do it is still relatively stressful. It does mean I spend a reasonable amount of time wasting it. In theory sleep should be a possibility but generally after about 10 minutes somebody pages me. But occassionally a couple of hours kip might occur ( I do feel kinda constantly on edge that they will page though).
yes I'm rambling but it is quarter past 4 in the morning and i'm lonely. TV is currently dull although caught snippets of dracula and jonathon ross earlier. Also found out this puter plays dvds...but seems to have no sound. sigh. Might try headphones tomorrow.
Had two hand lacerations to deal with (not something I like at all.) and a couple of social admissions which will not thrill the consultant in the morning.
All in all I'd rather be snuggled up at home in bed..but it could be worse.
