Wednesday morning at 1 o clock as the day begins...
Tis the witching hour...well tis nearly after the witching hour!
This is now night 4 no its actually night 5, even better :-) THings ok at the oment, minor panic when reg decided to go to bed at 10.30pm and has left me on the ward...aargh. BUt things do far ok (touch wood). Just been to a delivery of a lovely baby girl so congratulations to her folks!
Have bloods and gases to do at 2 so sittting doing a little catching up on email and cross stitch until then. Really quite tired tonight so sipping the caffeine.The wee baby is doing better at present, weaning of inotropes which is good, although a little scary. But I'm really quite happy about that.
Unfortunately it is now WEdnesday and although that means I'm closer to finishing my set of nights and seeing Ian and week off, it also means there is the grand round tomorrow where I have to be able to accuratel and systematically present this little bahbee to all the consultants and medical staff in the morning...eek. Only minor panic. I may start her night summary pretty soon.
So we will see how the night pans out, but quite content right now. This place isn't ahlf making me broody though, which perhaps is a little scary for Ian..hehe heh. I think he was ever hopeful it may have put me off for a while! :-p
