Sociology of Reproduction. Scary stuff. This week, we learned that men can lactate and breast-feed. Really truly. It's not just something that happens in Crack Fanfiction. We covered men getting pregnant a few weeks ago (generally women who had a sex-change but kept their uterus), and now men can lactate and breastfeed and the milk they produce is actually really really good for the babie (apparently), they just produce less of it that women.
We watched this video in class to explain the hows and whys and make sure that we ARE SCARRED FOR LIFE! No, it's not that bad, not really, it's aimed for use in schools after all. Still, not fantastic.
