(no subject)
so my music is looking up even though i'm in this stage of rarely touching my instruments or recording things...
1. a full length release but that's a little hush hush so more on that later...
2. a collab between me and scott da ros should be coming out on his album very soon on endemik music which shall be tops...i'm on the guitar drones while he's on the chop-chop with some very nice free jazz drum workouts...
3. a variation of a production that lawrence english did for me is coming out on a release of his sometime this year as well...i'm excited cuz the piece lawrence made from my prepared guitar sounded like a monster...
i'll probably start finishing off pieces now that i have some of matt rosner's processing and samples on CD here and maybe tap astronautalis to do a vocal on another piece of mine for the full length...
in other news,me and kate have been good but she's highlighted how boring my life actually is...she doesn't know that though,i just feel really shit when she's not around cuz it means i'm back to pacing up and down the house in order to wake up and sleeping in till i need to do something etc etc...
still - we're OK :)
thinking about going to see sleater-kinney and edan but i'm not sure just cuz mum gets back from BDesh on the 20th and i want to spend sometime with her and we're going to wollongong on the 23rd as is for uni enrolment...laneways festival might be more promising...we'll see how we go...
