Fifth novel total, fourth for NaNoWriMo. Whew.
You may have read my problem below, when I ended it a thousand words or so short. I decided to go ahead and do the "road back" and "return with elixir" stages. So they're out of trouble and running off with "the elixir" for the next book.
I still liked the other ending more.
Oh well. It is complete. I submitted it to copy works with a cover that I worked on for too long yesterday. I can't wait to see it. *squeals* I should have all my novels printed out by them. Hmm.
Actually, I can't do that. Three of them are on my first laptop, which is still at the shop, and apparently it's a motherboard problem now. Which will cost 150$. So my dad is considering getting a new laptop. The hard drive of the old one is still intact, so I guess I would be able to extract them eventually. You were a good laptop, Inspiron 5100. You lasted longer than this one did.
Did I post about this? I can't remember. My battery died, on cue one and a half months after my warranty expired. I'm still not sure what replacement to get, since the reviews on the Dell site are not that optimistic. Considering going for this one:
http://www.ebatts.com/dell_latitude-d820_laptop_batteries_part_b-5908h.aspx The savings listed there is accurate, the Dell site is super expensive. I currently have the 6-cell, which is ten dollars less than the 9-cell from ebatts, so I'm thinking it would be worth it to get the 9-cell. I used to get two and a half to three hours on this... it trickled down to barely an hour and then died. I'm typing to you now because it works when it is plugged in. Very annoying.
So, I should stop procrastinating now. I have to start my essay to get a grant that's due Sunday at midnight, and my advisor has to look it over first. Also, last pchem test! I need an A on this test. It's only two chapters this time, not a third of the book like last time, so I feel this is the one. Two chapters I can handle. Last time was just insane.
Heh. Still procrastinating. Bye!
