Terrible venture. And it had looked so promising, too, the glimmer, the gilt, the crystal, hmn? Although glimmer serves only to distract the eye, the gilt hides the rotted wood, and the crystal not near as fair as diamond. I've taken such notes; future reference certainly counts as a necessity.
