To all Merlin slash fans - co-writer search!!

Nov 21, 2011 13:04

Okay so I have this idea for a merlin/arthur slash fic that I want to write. Only problem is that I'm more experienced with reading than writing and I really don't think i can do it on my own, so I sincerely hope that someone out there would be interested in co-writing it with me ( Read more... )

love, merlin, memories, merlin/arthur, co-writer, arthur/merlin, mentally ill, arthur, slash

Well i'm from Denmark and and here it is considered pretty much a sin to admit liking spam. Not to mention, we don't really do the whole warm breakfast thing. Me, though, i've always stuck out and I LOVE spam and I can eat hot meals any time of the day... ;P

It sure is cold though, huh? It was minus 17,9 C here yesterday night... Brrrr! I love the snow but the cold is just ridiculous, I mean it's not like we live in Russia!!

I just went to your profile to check were you're from. East sussex I see. I used to live in Brighton a few years ago. Anyway, I saw your post of kid pictures and I LOVE the idea. (Loved the dress you wore on your 27th birthday, btw. You look fab! Very pretty!) I'll have to do a post like that too soon (can't now, i'm on my phone - but when Elina (my girlfriend) is done with the laptop I can post some pics).

I wonder the same thing, about other writers. Now I don't write much, I mostly draw/paint, but it's the same there, those damn insecurities of an artist!

Anyways, I've signed up for writing minimum 3000 words for the Merlin rpf mini!bang, so now I'll just have to post some of the stuff I write. If I like it or not! Do you read rpf/rps? I mean you obviously did with pete/carl, but what about colin/bradley?

Hm, what more, oh yeah, here's a LARGE hug!

Yay Danmark! I'm hopefully going to be in DK in 2004, to visit a penpal who lives on Fyn. I don't like this idea of not having hot breakfast though. **noms down apple and cinnamon porridge**

It was minus 5 C here on Friday (that was fun to do a walk to school in!) which is pretty cold for England, we don't tend to get a lot of too cold weather, and I don't remember the last time we had snow in February at all!.. If we didn't get screwed with all of 7cm of snow I wouldn't complain so much, but buses and trains are already being cancelled...

Yay East Sussex rocks! I lived in Brighton for 6 months in 2007 (well, Hove actually), I have so much love for this part of the UK (beside the cost of everything!) I can't wait to see your kid pictures post. I love photos.

I do read rpf/rps, so if you want a beta for your mini!bang work I'll offer my services.

I see your large hug, and raise you to a HUGE hug <3

Cool, Fyn is nice, I live in the second biggest city Aarhus (Not that it's very big, it has like 50.000 more inhabitants than Brighton & Hove) on Jutland (the mainland) and don't worry, when I said hot breakfast I didn't think of porridge. Porridge is pretty normal to eat in the morning here, and I suppose warm eggs are too. But sausages and bacon and all that most people consider kind of gross in the mornings... In fact, most people I know just drink tea or coffee and have nothing to eat (or something fancy like a croissant), but then, I live in a city area...

Yeah, especially East Sussex is pretty warm what with the gulf stream currents and all that... Denmark isn't usually this cold either, but we are quite used to snow. We don't have that much snow now, just a thin layer but the last two years were pretty extreme though (Kind of can't avoid frowning a bit at the concept of global warming when you're freezing your arse off!!!).

I love Brighton&Hove, I miss it a lot! Me and Elina lived there 2007/2008, right in the heart of Brighton. It's such a beautiful city and I loved that I could nearly always see the ocean! Rent was pretty extreme, though. I mean we pay the same here in the outskirts of Aarhus for a 64m2 flat (where most things function) as we did in brighton for like 24m2 where everything was half broken, no heating, and mold on the walls!

Food is incredibly cheap in England though, I mean REALLY! Everything cost a fortune here! Three times as much. Plus we pay 25% taxes on everything we buy. Just part of the whole welfare system. I'm not complaining though, I like that system. Also I suppose pay makes up for it, in Brighton my (unskilled work) pay (and yeah I was probably grossly underpaid, but I took what I could get) was roughly 5 pound/h. In Denmark Elina's (I don't have a job atm) pay is between 10 and 15 pounds/h for unskilled work.

Yeah, I'll have to dig up some pictures today... I reckon I was quite the cutie as a kid, but then who weren't! You were adorable btw!!!

I'll take you up on the offer. So far I've only written 500 words (I only just started) so it'll probably be a little while until I need you help. Do you use gdocs?

I acknowledge your HUGE hug, and raise you to a GIGANTIC hug <3 (Oh yeah, the big one!! *eyebrow wiggle*)

I grew up in a small village called Barcombe, that had 1600 residents, so anywhere is big to me, even Lewes sometimes heh!

I remember my penpal being horrified when I made a fry-up one morning. But ommmmg, sausage and eggs in the morning. Heaven!

Sussex and Kent always have the hottest weather in the summer. If there's ever a record hot weather day you can guarantee it will be either East Sussex or Kent!

Brighton rent is extreme, and Lewes too. When I last worked, I paid more for my council house (subsidised housing) than a friend in Scotland payed privately for a bigger house!!

I've heard we have pretty cheap food. Stine always says I eat pizza so much, and that I can buy about 7 pizzas for the price they'd pay for 1 in Odense!

Aww, I've taken £5/6ph jobs in the past, I know professional people who only earn £15ph. I should move to Denmark and just fly home for grocery shopping obviously ;)

I do use gdocs.. I'm tweeandbiscuits@gmail.com (I'm SO original with usernames yeah?)

I acknowledge your "gigantic" hugs and raise you to SUPER DOOPER WHOOP DE WHOOPER ALLEY OOPER ... hug. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqGAGD9CD1I)

Ooooh yeah baby, I do like a big one *pervy grin*

I'm born in Aarhus and live there in the city part Viby now, but I grew up in a small town, like you, called Mårslet it has like 4,500 residents now, but back when we moved there (1990) there must have been scarcely a thousand. So I can relate. Heh.

Yeah, didn't I tell you. I love it though! I suppose I'm what one might call an anglophile. I have an over the top fondness for most things British XD

Yeah, spring is just perfect in Brighton. It's like that end of UK has special air ^^

Rent is pretty bad in Brighton, yeah. But it is a really nice place to live, so... But what we pay for the flat we have now in Aarhus we could definetly rent a hous for somewhere less attractive, but I like living here, I prefer to have things close by.. you know. I wish I had a garden, though. I love gardening.

Yeah. ASDA was like, i dunno, heaven? For me. It was so cheap, so large AND always open (in denmark nearly all shops close at 8pm). I really loved shopping after work in the late hours. I worked as games linguistic tester and translator freelance, so I sometimes worked strange hours. Also the 1 Pound shop, brilliant!! =D

Yeah. That's what I should do. Fly to UK to grocery shop. Hahah I wish! Nearest airport with cheap flights is almost 2 hours away. ^^

Well, I don't think tweeandbiscuits is a bad name, it's actually rather good. My Frihed is much worse. Try and guess what it means (without looking it up). It's in Danish. My gmail is alice.chapelle@gmail.com, definitely less imaginative than yours heh! My main email is skag_and_bone_girl@hotmail.co.uk, though. So now you know.

There's no way I can top that. You won. Hands down. So I'll just hug back (http://jhexaduna.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/hug.jpg).

I like myself some pervy mate! FTW!

Haha, I knew what you meant but I couldn't resist to tease... B ut wouldn't it be wonderful though, the Doctor (10th? Or?) and his Tardis coming to take you to Fyn ;P Then again, with his luck there'd be evil Darleks out and about.

30 is no age!! But then again, i'm 23 and experiencing existential crisis as we speak. I feel like an old hobbit ^^
