Neuro-Opthamologist

Went to the Neuro-Opthamologist today. They are going to look into putting prisms on my glasses so that I will be able to see to drive again and stop having my mom stay with me and drive me around.

They drew yet more blood today and now apparently my veins are scarring and they aren't able to get blood out of my arm. They stuck me and literally nothing happened. They then had to go to a vein in my hand which sucked ass.

After getting blood drawn I went to the neuro-opthamologist. They are upping the Diamox to hopefully reduce the pressure - she wants to avoid doing surgery or a shunt. I really liked this doctor and she has treated several pseudotumor patients which makes me feel a lot better about having her on the team as she is the specialist. The side effects are supposed to wear off as my body gets used to the medication.

The medication is also now giving me nausea and heartburn so now I have to take another medication to help so that I can eat.

So hopefully getting the prisms on Thursdays will help me to be able to see and drive so that I can finally do stuff on my own.
