Did you know that the largest man made structure is not the great wall of china, but a rubbish dump outside New York Fresh Kills Landfill Inspiring stuff.
Also inspiring, is a mass of plastic the size of Texas ( The Great Pacific Garbage Patch) is floating in the Pacific thanks to ocean currents. Plastic doesn't biodegrade so it just accummulates. Plastic outnumbers marine life here by a factor of six. And mostly ends up in marine life.
