Hi everyone,
The FF Management Team wanted to let you allknow what's going on with the server upgrade, and why things are takingso long. The short answer is, during what should have been a simpleupgrade, our server hard drives were reformatted by our serviceprovider (I'll post the longer story later), which means we lost allour data. We were stunned and devastated by this news.
Mostunfortunately, we discovered the only offsite backup we have is from2005, so we've been working frantically since do everything we can torecover our lost data. We've kept FF offline while recovery is still apossibility, but it's a slow, complicated and tedious process, so itwill take some time before we know if it is going to work. If it doesnot, we'll eventually be back online with the old database.
Thanks for your continued patience. We'll continue to post updates here when there is anything new to report.
