I'm going to bitch now. Sorry, I just am.
Today my family was supposed to come to EL and we were going to celebrate father's day. Around noon I got a call from mother saying they were probably not going to be able to make it, but I could meet them in Bay City and help clean out Grandpa's apartment. Wanting to be able to celebrate father's day and also see grandpa I'm down. I leave around 1, get some coffee and hit I69, but wait! Traffic jam... FOR TEN MILES! THEY TOOK US OFF THE HIGWAY AND PUT US THROUGH TWO STOPLIGHTS AND A STOP SIGN! YOU CAN"T DO THAT ON A SATURDAY! ITS A BAD IDEA! IT TOOK ME AN HOUR AND A HALF TO GO TEN MILES! Anyway, finally got through that and arrived in bay city around 4. I help clean out the apartment, claimed a few things for myself and want to see grandpa. He's ok for a guy who's heart, lungs and kidneys are all operating at substantially sub-par. I hung out with him and the rents till about 10 and drove home. When I get home I unload the table and chairs from the truck bed and notice that the entire left side of my truck has a sticky sort of feel to it. Not good. clearly something is amiss. i look under the hood and don't see anything. Maybe I just drove past a truck that splattered me with something gross? I park the truck in the driveway and as I walk back to the house I notice a rather large puddle directly under where my truck had been a few minutes before. SHIT. I touch it, it feels watery. SHIT SHIT. I get out my flashlight and look underneath it and see steady dripping coming from the passenger side, near the wheel. SHIT SHIT SHIT. I check the coolant. Rather I checked the empty vessel where the coolant should be. Unfortunately, there was none there. GGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so that was my day, and that was my bitching.
PS
If anyone knows a GOOD mechanic that isn't a DICK I would greatly appreciate a point in their direction.
