return of the amanda
well after almost one year of not updating this thing, i guess i'm back. a lot has happened over the course of 10 months. here is a run down of some of them--
-i spent two months on the couch with mono. that was a riot.
-i am now 21! i had mono on my birthday which meant no much drinking for me. i will make up for it on birthday # 22.
-moved out of the apartment in jefferson commons and no longer live with katie :( i now live with three very lovely ladies (ashley, megan, and of course jessie) and a crazy dog named roxy in a house on grant street.
-no longer an employee of gordo snowboards. what a fucking mess that was. i spent 3 months being unemployeed and searching for a job. FYI-- the michigan unemployment department is a piece of shit.
-i am now working at a place called cybermind. i'm in charge of human resources and communications among other things.
-have a bitchin' new car. it's a 2002 Saturn L200.
-sass, my dog of 8 years passed away.
-my parents moved into a sweet new house in muskegon.
-i joined a the ymca with jessie. my muscle ache with pain.
-i helped my dad start his own business called accurate service and engineering. i am his "accountant". he's been super successful thus far.
-mason and i just celebrated one wonderful year back together.
-i picked up an english minor to go with my comparative religion major.
-i saw ben folds live. possibly one of the greatest nights of my life.
i guess that's basically the highlights of what happened while i was absent from lj. since i spend some time at work with nothing to do i thought that i would start this thing up again. needless to say it will keep me entertained.
also, the rentals have returned. i highly suggest any fans check out their website www.therentals.com for updates. they are recording a new ablum. let's just say i'm more than thrilled.
