i'm sorry. here i go. i know i'm sinner, but i can't say no.
guess who is in charge at work this week? that's right me. while everyone gets to go to vegas and have fun at the sia trade show, they leave me behind to make sure things run smooth. i guess someone has to do it. those bastards better bring me back something nice.
so i've had this migraine for the past 2 days. it will not go away. it started yesterday because i was super stressed out with all the homework i did the night (well, morning) before, the homework i had to do that night, and the crap i had to do at work. i was also stressin' over the fedex situation at work.
fun story? fed ex sucks. yes, they suck. i met with my rep myra and found out that we were being charged almost $2,000 in fees that we didn't know existed. now what i have to do is go through one of our invoices (it's 52 pages long. that's 1 weekly invoice) and make sure our discount is being applied to every package and that we are charging the customer the correct amount. it makes me sick to think about it. i also had to meet with our accountant and vice president (i think that's what he is. well, he's something) and explain everything to them and to get assigned more shit when it comes to fedex. fedex is the reason why i freak out at work. fedex is going to be the end of me. why did i offer to take over our fedex crap? WHY? well, i guess it's because i know how to deal with them and their customer service. the trick is to be as mean as possible. i know it sounds shitty, but you cannot get anywhere with those people unless you are a down right horrible bitch to them. works every time.
pinkerton on ipod makes me a very, very happy girl.
mason started his job today. i hope things are going alright. he's working 2nd shift, so he won't get home until around midnight. i think i will be nice and cook him dinner. i'm sure he will be hungry.
this weekend i bought a sweet new fish tank. i know it sounds dorky, but it's real badass. it's 30 gallons and deep as hell. i bought a really tall a narrow one and looks freakin' sweet. maybe i can take a picture and post it on here. my fish love it, compared to the other one which was leaking and was really murky. this one is crystal clear and had all new filer and heater. ahhh i love it. thanks to mason and chad for helping me set it up.
should i go to work? i rather not, but i think i might need to just check in and see how things are going. i'm pretty sure i'm becoming a workaholic. you know what i should do is go home and do some damn homework. that might be a great idea. i'm really tired and if i don't shake this headache, it's the emergency room for me tonight. shit, i have an exam on thursday. ahh crap. that's all for now.
