Last week Gon and I were in Asia. We've been there a few times before, but Gon really wanted to find a panda, and it's not like you've seen everything just because you've visited once. I like the place, it's cool. A disappointing lack of crazy old monks though, but we didn't check the highest mountains yet.
Anyway. We decided to have a competition to see who could find a panda first. I spent an entire day running around, finding various possible new species and a few other bear-like creatures. It was kind of hot though, so by the end of the day I just really wanted to find Gon again so we could find a lake or river and go for a swim. I figured we could continue the search the next day.
So I called him up, and it took FIVE MINUTES before he even answered. You know why? He'd already found a panda and had been playing with it all day! He FORGOT to call me! They'd already made best friends and were eating a dinner together. It took me an hour to run back to where they were, too. He could have told me sooner!
... I should expect this from Gon, though. He's an idiot.
We'll be travelling together a lot again, from now on. We haven't been together enough, and we need to resume the search for his dad. For now we're both in the Tales of Symphonia fandom, though, helping out there. I'm teaching him what I know about tracking people. It's too bad we can't use my family's connections.
But! I have something even more important to talk about.
I have decided something, and that's that Haine seriously needs a few pies to the face. Really. This needs to be fixed, so I am declaring a...
