(no subject)
it has been a long time since my last live-journaling. i don't think anyone reads this, which is okay, because i mostly only like these things for a personal reference of my life.
lately, i have been downloading alot of music. not like i used to, because i would get a song or 2 by an artist to see if i like it and want more. I read somewhere that the mp3 is the end of the "album" as we know it. It's true! I am trying to get over music ADD that this has given me... song to song.. That is one good thing about listening to records.. you dont really skip through the songs like would on a cd or mp3 player. plus they are only like 50 cents (sometimes).
I have this mentality that if I can get it for cheap(er) or free in some way, it isn't worth buying. Sometimes, I let go of that, then later see the thing for cheaper or free, then this mentality is further enforced.
I am excited about summer. Warm weather makes me feel...at home. I am not sure how working at the snackbar will be. I am glad jenna is going to be there, and katy. It seems to be getting pretty pathetic that i still work there..I wanted to branch out and take the opportunity to try something new (preferably working with kids), then I realized that the EASY thing to do would be taking the job that is easy and guaranteed. Every year is different though, different lifeguards, different people...older me. better nachos. ha.
This year, the snackbar is a bar, too. I couldn't think of a better idea than mixing people with alcohol..and a large body of water. Glad i'm not a lifeguard.
