Fatima has always been one of my favorite characters. Right from the moment she got stapled to the counter (although for the longest time I thought she was nailed instead of hammered *shrugs*)
I can understand the logic in that. Then again, I sort of think that the grand-puppy would've held me over 'til then. Although, had it not accidently updated, I would've been freaking out because I hadn't read the announcement. I make a habit of trying to read a comic as soon after it updates as possible, so when a comic doesn't update when I expect it to, I spaz. ^^;
You're quite welcome. I really do love FH. I'm glad that you wrote it. As much as I love the characters, I just know that had someone else written the same events (for the most part) it just wouldn't have come out as successfully. It would've turned into something you wouldn't want to touch for fear of infection. The characters would have seemed fake and 2D and the events would have never had any lasting aftermath or conclusion.
I love how you can take a completely irrational situation (Anne being sold as a slave in return for her brother keeping his kidney, for example) and make it work. With the little quirks of the characters, you've written this story so that we don't question the motives behind a character's actions (much, anyways) but instead expect it of them (Leslie robbing a grave, for example).
I love the way your characters interact and am looking forward to seeing you do similarly with OPB. Same great writing, different setting? Awesomesauce.
To the epilogue! *raises glass of apple/peach/passion fruit juice*
