If we hadn't already seen that Anne and the Demon go badly together I'd be shipping them SO HARD.

I wouldn't say that the Demon and Anne are bad for each other---a lot of time has passed, and they've changed. I mean, the Demon didn't used to be interested in Anne because I think he felt her to be too juvenile.

Doesn't seem that way anymore, though :3 Since the first thing off the bat was to ask if she was doing anything on the weekend <3

Yeah. At first I was all, "you had your chance with Anne, buddy!" but then I came to the same conclusion - it's not that he didn't like her, she was just too young for him then. And holding back because a girl's too young for him is a nice trait to find in a man!

I'm rooting for the two of them--I thought they were cute together in the past, but now that Anne's grown up on her own and matured, I think they'd be right sweet as a couple.

I can understand why it would take a while for Demon to notice Anne---after all, he's.......what, 950 years old or more?? :P He definitely needs a mature woman!

true but you can bet on Demon being the stereotypical southern male type in that even though (or rather especially since) he can't/doesn't have Bootsie/Anne in the romantic slot of his social structure she has been put into the "little sister" category. and as such Arath had better hope he never does anything to hurt Anne physically or emotionally (not that he would) otherwise he find himself on the very unpleasant end of a homicidally irate Demon.
I do believe that the only reason motorcycle boy is still ambulatory is because she hasn't told Demon about him
