So, after a hellish few months, I have somewhere to live.
I move in on Tuesday, and the landlord is happy to wait for my housing benefit claim to go through.
The room is partially furnished, but I really want a new bed.

Anyway, it's my birthday in a month, and I'm wondering if it would be really rude to ask people who were thinking of buying me gifts to donate a little bit of cash into my paypal account instead.
I never do things like this it always seems pushy, so I'm just wondering what people think, really.
