The secret of comedy (more about braces)
I'm looking forward to the potluck tomorrow night, but it will be interesting to see what--if anything--I feel comfortable eating. The last few days have been mostly yogurt, soup and ice cream, with one foray into a burger and fries on Wednesday. The discomfort seems (at the moment) to be subsiding, so maybe I'll actually be able to potluck traditionally.
And then of course there is the parental/in law circuit coming up about two weeks after the braces and wires go on ... I'll be a barrel of laughs on *that* trip. Hence the title ... since the secret of comedy is, of course, timing.
