Those in Britain, or interested in our countries, may know that the law about organ donation in Wales is changing. The opt-in system will become an opt-out system on 1st December this year. That is, if you're resident in Wales when you die, your organs will be presumed available for transplants. Unless you've signed papers to say that you don't want to donate your organs.
This makes Wales the first UK country to have an opt-out system for organ donation. Here's a
