Autoimmune disease, teeth health story and a question

I am having surgery on my mouth next Friday. I am having the whole upper part of my mouth reconstructed. My autoimmune disease has attacked and been attacking this area for quite some time. I have been complaining to dentists and doctors about it for years. It just got worse and worse and now you can see it. Because they can now see it they are finally ready to do something about it. To make a long story short, my mouth is a huge mess. They have to remove all the teeth and fix the bone and muscle. Its going to be weeks of heeling. I am angry because I feel like if they would have listened in the first place I wouldn't have had to go through as much surgery. It could have been fixed a long time ago and been a lot easier on me. Anyways my question.... (sorry about the rambling story)

I am curious as to how many people in the group that have autoimmune diseases or even if you don't have dental issues? I have had people with Churg-Strauss, like myself, have the same problem but I am curious how many others with autoimmune issues have problems. I have been reading articles but it only lists certain diseases but I truly believe it is more than just the four that it always lists.

teeth, conditions: churg-strauss syndrome, conditions: autoimmune, surgery
