Carers
Here in Britain, 9-15 June will be Carers Week this year. Several of us in friendly_crips have carers, whether personally close or visiting. Some of us are carers.
I think that caring is an exception to my usual opinion, that 'raising awareness' means little. Careers really do deserve more awareness of what they do. Working often behind private doors, often at weird hours, often doing work that isn't everybody's idea of fun. But, I hope, often rewarding work.
