A senior politician with diabetes
Here in Britain our Home Secretary is Theresa May. She's recently been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.
My attention was caught, because I wish Mrs May well and hope she gets good care. Also because until last year, she was Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Women and Equalities. She wasn't very crip-friendly in her attitude to hate crime against disabled people.
