Hello, all! I have spent the weekend at SCRAPBOOKING CAMP. It's a bit quaint/middle-aged of me, but I seriously love scrapbooking. So much so that I'm going to become a CONSULTANT. That's right. I've toyed with the idea for about nine months or so now, haven't really done it mostly because of the startup costs. But that's all taken care of now and in the next month or so I will be signing up. Doing classes and home parties and things like that. Seriously hilarious but I'm really looking forward to it. I want to share my scrap love with the world...
At camp we were in bunk rooms; I shared one with my mum, nanan, Fatboy and my mum's workmate WHO JUST SO HAPPENS TO SNORE. It wasn't crazy loud snoring, just really fucking constant. Only got a total of seven hours sleep on Friday and Saturday nights combined. My poor soul. Apart from that the weekend was a blast. I scrapped twenty-three new pages, most of which I am pretty happy with. I still have to journal (I am really slack with journalling) but apart from that, I'm all caught up to the end of 2006. I have a stack of photos to do for the first half of this year already but it's so nice to be so close to completely caught up.
On the way home from mum's place tonight (after camp we stopped at mum's, which is halfway between Tamborine mountain aka camp location and my house, and I had a five-hour nap hahaha) I got busted for speeding. First time ever I have been chased down by a flashing lights police car, which was pretty exciting but of course at the same time I wanted to die. Sneaky 80km spot on a highway that's 90% 100km. Really just not fair. On top of that, I've got a For Sale sign up on the car and apparently you need to have a safety certificate stuck up as well. I didn't. Another fine, this one for $375. Fucking ouch, guys, it hurts my heart.
