CAR CAR CAR
Yeah! 2003 Toyota Avalon
We got our car delivered to us today. We test drove a few over the weekend. The car that we ended up getting was not in Atlanta. The guy had friends that come weekly to the auctions. They drove the car here. YEAH!!! Mic and I didn't have to figure out how to get the car.
I called my friend, Alison. She and her son, Avi, came over and we installed Julia's carseat. We had to get on the other side of 285 in 50 minutes. The guy called me right as we were pulling off interstate onto his exit. We were a minute away.
The car looks great. I am relieved.
I drove it to Mic's office. He took Julia and myself out to lunch. I kept the car. I was too tired to even wait for Mic to transfer the carseat into the van. I just wanted to get home. So did Julia. She cried for the last 20 minutes of our drive. When we got home, she drank her milk, and I put her to bed.
Twenty minutes later, I am back in her room, changing her dirty diaper. So we play. and play...and play. Back to Bed, and again, 20 minutes later, I am back changing another dirty diaper.
So, for two hours after we got home, I was either changing a diaper, or chasing my daughter and trying to convince her to take a nap. She finally is down for the count. I am exhausted. I am going to join her in la la land.
