A baby will soon be one! And then two. [Party]
Hey lovely friends,
M will be turning 1 on Sat the 8th Feb (OMG I KNOW!!!). A & I would like to do some gentle celebration for that because why not? However, in another happy turn of events, the 8th is also the day when ariiadne, vyrin & their offspring will arrive in the UK and we think that should be celebrated too.
So we've decided that it would be a better idea to hold a small party at our house on Sat 15th instead, so M's birthday can be celebrated alongside ariiadne & vyrin's visit.
Please join us from 1pm onwards at our house for all the usual party activities, with a side order of baby play for any of you who enjoy that sort of thing. Things will probably wrap up a little earlier than usual, likely 10-10:30, for baby bedtime, but we'll see on the day. Feel free to arrive any time in between; M is likely to be better company earlier in the day but is generally always happy to see visitors & be made a fuss of.
It's not necessary to bring gifts; if you wish to, that's very kind & much appreciated, but please don't feel any compulsion to do so out of politeness. Your company is our most desired gift. Similarly, if you'd like to bring (vegetarian) food/drink, we'd be very flattered but it isn't expected; there will be food provided for everyone who'd like it. Please let us know any dietary restrictions you have & we shall do our utmost to ensure there is food you can eat here. There will of course be both alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails.
RSVP is not required, but if you know you will or won't come, it'd be helpful if you'd tell us so we have an idea of numbers for food; however, if you'd like to wait til the day, that's fine too. If you can see this message, you are invited; please do let us know if you'd like to bring anyone else, especially if we don't know them, but that'll probably be fine too. If you don't have our address, or need directions, please reply to this/DM me.
We hope you can join us as we're very much looking forward to seeing you, and it'll be our last chance for a party before Babby #2 arrives! No doubt they'll be making their presence felt in the day nevertheless...
