Not sure how I scored, but I did. Earlier in the day, I'd heard that GEOS had a new manager, so I thought I might go down and meet her since I would probably go out to dinner w/ Mark after work anyways. Last night, Rie had come up from 奈井江 and we went out to Gusto. Thought she might come again tonight, but on my way home, she emailed and said she was going to stay home and study/prepare for her Finnish guests. Because of that email, I figured I'd be going out w/ Mark. When I got home, though, I got another email. Another friend, ノゾミ , asked if I liked miso soup. Said I was fine w/ that. Then she emailed back and asked if I liked pork. I had to laugh. Wasn't quite sure what she was getting at. Ends up, she fixed a ton of food and was bringing me the leftovers. Can't argue w/ that. I hopped in the shower and not long after that, she stopped by. Big ol' jug o' miso soup. 2 pork steak-like thingies. Big bundle o' rice. 1 big omelette-type thingie. We sat around and BS'd a little, but, having been up since 3am, she was tired, so she called it a night.
I'd been watching
Predator, so when she left, I heated up the food and sat down for more Predator. I'm full now. Totally makes up for me realizing that my copy of Predator SUCKS. Having a 32" LCD brings out plenty of bad in the old transfer. I can only imagine what a properly transferred/digitally restored version would look like on HD-DVD or Blu-Ray.
So, Predator's over. I'm full. Spoke to the new GEOS manager on the phone a bit before the movie ended (sounds fairly 元気). I was going to fiddle around w/ some of my photos before bed, but it's almost midnight now. Time for Cinderella to hit the sack 'fore Pumpkinitis sets in!
