I. Could. KILL.
Another eventful Saturday here at work, so I actually have a little time to fiddle around and try to learn some Flash. Doing a tutorial from Devx.com that seems pretty straight forward (A Coffee Grounds tutorial). Was doing fine for the most part, but now I've hit a brick wall and am trying not to go unconscious from all the head-spinning. Either that or someone hit me w/ a freakin' truck and never bothered to let me know.
I swear Macromedia is the spawn of the Devil. And now that Adobe's bought them, it's like 2 Prime Evils or something joined forces. All we need now is for Microsoft to intervene in it all and we'd have the ultimate unholy trinity.
Scream. Louder than Edvard Munch's scream. That'd be me about now.
Edit: Walked away for a bit. Unloaded some medical waste. Opened up a few that seemed odd. One had a book on taxes (THICK) and a bunch of brochures from Sony Life Insurance (never knew they dabbled in that). Lot of medical paperwork, too, complete w/ names and big number figures. Not exactly a great way to get rid of one's records. Fools probably assumed that all this was going to the incinerator. Uh, sorry- that's not how we deal with it at this place. Altho' that's where I'm having it sent because I don't want the paperwork and tax book to plug up the freakin' infeed rolls when I'm running on Monday. PITA people.
Point of the edit was that I walked away from the Flash tutorial because I was steamed and frustrated. Came back better and whizzed through the part where I'd gotten stuck. Don't know how or why (maybe the computer just wanted a break from me). Now I'm stuck on a different part (and am ready to KILLKILLKILL). Can't get the danged Paint Bucket to work. It's got a little lock on the icon when I try to use it. WTF? Where'd that come from?
