November is the most depressing month. I find myself listening to a lot of sad sappy music and howe gelb. I haven't heard his new album but last year's Arizona Amp and Alternator may be one of my favorites ever. I entered my painting, entitled Eleanor Chimpchump, in an art show (the business school one.) I hope it gets in. The grad student painting guy (I forgot his name) told me he hoped it got in too because he likes it. I need to read Dharma Bums,  I keep forgetting to. And I haven't read anything in months. So sad. It's National Novel Writing Month and I still haven't gotten around to writing mine. I have no idea what it'll even be about. Mr. Paul Brinkley is coming up this weekend and we will do all sorts of guy stuff (watch football, drink beer.) Ha. No, we'll probably drive around and listen to music. Maybe go explore the city by foot. I need a flash card for my camera.

My life studies class is alright, although it gets kind of boring, and i have to listen to more jack johnson and discussions about dave matthews band than i would ever want to. This is an art class people, you may have good visual awareness but your ears are deaf (I think they're mostly photography majors, that should say it all.)
