I'm making a return to the blog world. Re-opening my Live Journal account because it's been good to me in the past so, here I am again.
Updates about myself:
So I've been coming home everyday smelling like fresh coffee beans. I bathe in them at Timothy's World Coffee shop. I'm a barrister and I make pretty good caramel lattes with fancy snow flake/flower designs, just to impress the ladies.
I've been to Japan. Twice. First time last year in the summer and second time last month to ring in 2008. New Years was pretty fun, spent time with my lady, went to Kyoto temples, fought ninjas...stuff like that. I finally tried blowfish, fugu, which was really good and I ate raw horse meat sushi style. Yeah most people would never think of eat raw horse meat but it's not like I can in Toronto. So why not give it a try when I have the opportunity right?
Anyways
Stuff I'm into:
-sneakers : and not just the ones you can buy at any ol' Footlocker. The really fancy, collector edition, designer stuff that's sweeping the nation with "Sneaker heads"
Though I stopped shopping because I'm trying to save up money, I still check out whats new with shoes and clothes. Favorite brands are Supreme and Stussy. I always check out hypebeast.com or highsnobiety.com
reading Vagabond
A Japanese comic book about the legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi, --perhaps the most renowned samurai of all time. The pacing of each chapter may seem slow, but it's almost like a movie. Plus the art work is really great. I highly recommend the book to anyone into Samurai fiction, or on a path to enlightenment.
