Well! Finals are done at last and I can say with honesty that I did okay. I could have done better, but I did okay.
I went skiing today. I did alright, the snow was rough, well on its way to being Sierra concrete. Hangin' out with Alberto tomorrow afternoon for Mongolian and some "V for Vendetta". Also need to go to REI and pick up my order since I might be going on a climbing trip with some OA fellas down to Mount St. Helena for a day trip on Sunday. All around good stuff, good times. I'll try to get a disposable camera or something to get some pics in.
Not a drunktastic Spring Break, in fact I haven't been earnestly drunk for about three weeks--something I really want to do.
Did ski on a shot of Jager and a couple drinks though- I'm getting pretty good but I was working on jumps today and ate some major crap. Landing is tough-- I did land one jump I really wanted to but I was stretched out from the landing and it was whiteout conditions on top. I couldn't spot where I'd come down and hit a hump before I could recover. Faceplant. Total yardsale. I kept my poles, but hat, skis, and goggles were left 100 feet up the mountain. Fan. Tastic. I have a cut on my nose from smacking my face into the snow. Fun as hell though, I'm sad the season's ending.
I've decided that I need to call Amy more often if I'm going to seriously pursue her, and just do what feels right, regardless of whether or not she wants me to "advance the relationship" so to speak. If she's uncool with it she'll let me know, and I'm pretty much always the one going too slowly. So yeah, definitely want to get her though, and that entails calling more than once a week (I'm going to be a bad boyfriend, I know). She's out in Santa Cruz partying it up right now though, but I'll give her a ring tomorrow anyway- hopefully she won't be asleep/hungover.
