Running on Fiji Time
So when I said I was going to be away 2 weeks, I apparently meant 5 weeks.
(Returning around Nov 5th, maybe. With lots of sage wisdom and/or pretty pictures.)
It's nobody's fault...
OK, so maybe it's the fault of people who wanted to paint towers in a rainforest at the start of the rainy season.
How were they to know it might rain? :oP
I'm not being entirely fair of course, Monasavu has had 20 times as much rain this October as last October.
It's not all negative, the good people of Fiji have been getting brutally ripped off by the price of the extra fuel they've had to burn as a result of 4 years' no-rain at they primary hydro-dam.
I'd have even more sympathy if the national sport wasn't 'Ripping each other off' :oP
