A brighter entry
How's this for flash I'm doing my livejournal on my wii (yeah I know thats sad).
Anyhoo, I'm writing this post because I'm felling more myself than I have done for quite a while now. Each day my hair grows a little longer and I feel more like me. I'm gorwing my dreads back, much to my mother and grandparents dismay. But I felt right when I had them. Since they've been gone its like part of me is missing. I'm less confident, and generally feel a bit nervous most of the time.
I know that its entirely likely that having my dreads back will make no difference at all. But its worth a shot.
Friday I leave for sunny Scotland for a few days. I'm going for a wedding, so suited and booted. Should be fun, I love Scottish weddings.
The bride is my old friend Linda from back in the ol country (Saudi Arabia) we grew up together there. She's about the closest thing I've got to a sister.
In other news as of the 7th of August I should be one of the new DJ's for the rock night in Wrexham :) I'm nervous as hell about it but also quite confident. All I need is a laptop to hold all my music in (about 250gb worth) and my dad is helping me with that by loaning me the money. He says its an investment because he thinks I'll make a good DJ and will do well.
Top all that off with the fact that I seem to be doing much better with my contact staff. I'm learning a new trick every couple of days and the moves are getting much more fluid and smooth.
Yeah, so not everything is going badly in my life. :P
