RANCHO PALOS VERDES, Calif. - Hollywood super-agent Ari Emanuel said he has some new ideas on how to use Facebook and social networks to make everyone an investor in the upcoming movie version of “Friday Light Nights.”

Speaking at the All Things D conference here, Emanuel, who is the co-CEO of the William Morris Endeavor agency, is best known as model for the high-powered character Ari Gold in the HBO hit show “Entourage.”

“There are different ways to finance this movie. Maybe we could finance it via Facebook fans. There are lots of ways to finance a movie like this, with a fan base like this,” Emanuel said. Between the television show and movie, “Friday Night Lights” has over a million fans or Likes on Facebook.

Interviewer Kara Swisher probed Emanuel on the idea: “So, $10 from each Facebook fan?”

“Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking,” he responded. “It’s a creative way for people to get vested in the project. I’m thinking about how to do it differently.”

Emanuel also suggested that those that donated could have access to the script or storyboards on Pinterest. “We could start out on Pinterest on story boards, you might see the script,” he said on stage.

Emanuel has invested in technology start-ups and recently the William Morris Endeavor agency partnered with the Silver Lake private equity firm for other digital and tech projects. He didn’t reveal any more details about the movie’s story line or timing.
