Matt Roush (who is the man, btw) has a new column on tonight's episode. And if you weren't already pumped for this one, this column will triple it. You can find the whole column
here (does contain some mild spoilers), but here's a little bit of what he had to say:
You want to know why we fans of Friday Night Lights go on and on about this show, despite its sad ratings and aggravating lack of presence on the various clueless awards show? I’ll tell you why we go on and on about it.
Tonight’s episode is why.
This hour is on par with the best of the first season, and that’s saying something. It’s some of the finest TV you’re likely to see all year. I’ve watched certain parts of this episode several times, and each time it takes my breath away with its emotional power.
And while it's not 100% official,
TVshowsonDVD.com has announced that Season 2 will be released on DVD on April 22nd and will include all 15 episodes. No word on any extra features, but that'll probably come when an official announcement is made.
So looks like the season is officially over after next week. What a bummer.
