Beautiful; Jacob/Bella (PG) d4nce4m01 June 22 2008, 13:02:06 UTC
After fifty years Bella was finally convinced that she was beautiful. While she had grieved at the sign of her first wrinkle, and worried about the grey appearing in her hair, it didn't matter anymore. She finally realized that in order to realize her beauty she had to look into the eyes of others, and see it reflected back to her.

Edward sent a potted plant, 'you become more beautiful every single second,’ the note read. She plants it in her private garden in the back yard. A secret garden of love, filled with flowers from the man she let go. Fifty years of beauty, she finally sees what he was getting at.

Rosalie, the one Cullen who visits her traces a wrinkle on her face and holds her hand across the table. Her grandchildren stare in awe at the beautiful woman, but for once Rosalie ignores the them. Her eyes tell me that I am everything she ever wanted, and to her I am the most beautiful concept she had ever conceived.

Jacob touches every line, every age spot, runs his hands through every grey hair and buries his face in softened skin. "I've witnessed all of this," he says with his hands. "I've cherished every moment, every laugh, every frown that created these," he says with his lips as he traces the lines on my face. "I love you, I love you, I love you," pounds his heart.

I feel beautiful.
I am beautiful.
Finally.
