Longing; Charlie; GsavannahjanMay 12 2008, 21:50:02 UTC
Charlie pulled into the drive, relieved to see Bella’s truck. Today had been a rough day at work, and he was looking forward to being with his daughter. Just having her there was calming to him. As he opened the front door, Bella almost knocked him over on her way out. “Bye dad, gotta go. Edward is waiting.” And she was gone. Charlie stopped to watch her drive away and felt extremely alone. She lived with him, but somehow, Charlie always seemed to be longing for her presence. That seemed to be the constant in his life: longing for Bella, his daughter.
