"you have a problem." chaerin states bluntly.
bom is mid-bite, delectable treat just a millimeter from her mouth. startled by chaerin's words - and sudden appearance - the cob of corn slips out of bom's grip and falls to the floor. it rolls until it comes to a halt at chaerin's feet.
bom looks at the corn then back to chaerin then back to the corn. she bites her bottom lip forlornly.
"five second rule!" she squeals and proceeds to pick up the cob of corn for the last mouthful.
chaerin stares as bom munches away happily.
"did she just-" sandara starts, eyes as wide as saucers.
"yes."
"it's worse than we thought."
sandara strokes her chin and spends the next hour before bedtime plotting an intervention.
yg family; kush-centric, pg.
kush and teddy are on their way for a routine we're-not-getting-any-younger-so-let's-get-drunk-as-fuck. they walk, even though it's a little chilly out, because the bar isn't very far from where teddy lives - and where kush will probably end up crashing - and they could both use a breath of fresh air after being locked in the studio all day.
they're just around the corner when kush spots what's easily one of the most gorgeous girls he's ever seen. straight black hair, big brown eyes and pink-painted lips. teddy follows kush's line of vision and nudges him in the ribs.
as teddy makes way to blend in with the shrubbery, kush quickly adjusts his cap and pastes on his most charming smile. "are you lost, miss? heaven is a long way from here."
the girl laughs, teeth in perfect white rows. "is this how you get all the ladies?"
"needs a little work but, i get by."
"i'm sure you do," she says, lips still curved.
"what's your name?"
"call me and maybe you'll find out." she says with a wink, tossing her hair over her shoulder.
at first, kush thinks she's joking but then she pulls a pen out of her purse, grabs kush's hand, and writes her number in the center of his palm. kush may or may not be openly staring.
when she finishes - with a tiny heart at the end, kush notes - she opens her mouth to say "you should work on your open-liner" with a smile before she walks away. her heels clink against the pavement and the sound rings in kush's ears long after she has left.
"dude!" teddy exclaims as soon as the girl is beyond hearing distance. he gives kush a clap on the back, and well, that speaks for itself.
"that was nothing," kush says with a grin. "happens all the time."
(throughout the night, kush repeatedly opens the fingers of his clasped hand to make sure the ink hasn't worn off.)
