Its that time of year again...
Well I figured I woiuld do this now cause chances are good i'll forget before Christmas so I might as well do it now while I remember.. It's Christmaqs time and I figured I'd put some of my favorite Christmas songs and wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Hopefully this persistant illness I have will give itup before Christmas, cause it alreadt kind of interfered with my Thanksgiving.. I do wish everyone a happy and safe holidoay and hoep whoever reads this enjoys the music..
I do love the Muppets, and Sesame Street and all those wonderful things that Jim Henson created. I know they are still around but it isn't quite the same without Jim at the helm. He was the heart and soul of the Muppets and Kermit lost his voice that day :( This son is one of my all time favorite Christmas songs, featured on the John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together album, which is my all time fav Christmas album too btw. It's called A Christmas Wish and its sung by Kermit, with guitar by the late, great John Denver, another soul lost too soon. The video is adorable featureds some of my favorite muppets ever..
Love anything Beatles and of course John Lennon's "Happy Xmas: war is over" is one of my absolute favs ever, speaks for itself as most of Lennons work always did. Another one gone way too soon..
And my other favorite Christmas song of all time isn't a song but an instrumental that just kicks ass., a staple on rock stations every year.. Crhrismas Eve Sarajevo by Trans Siberian Orchestra.. love it every time I hear and the vid is awesome.. my favorite part being the end of it.. such a cute little kitty :)
