New wit me of late..
My father broke his hand in a bizarre accident on Saturday, a small bone in his hand, and thankfully he can still drive but he's out of work for a a few weeks. It coulld've been alot worse I suppos. I know peeps that are going through worse than that. I suppose. I haven't gotten my news back from the doctor lately but the news I got wasn't good on the driving front. I was basically told I was likely to never drive again. The vision is not coming back to a point where I'd be able to. So that's that
I got my new computer desk and my new bureau set up in my room, so the continuing project is still under way. I'll be sure to put pics up on FB when it's all done. That is keepng me busy when I have a day off here and t here. This weeken I'm attending 2 weddings in my family. My cousin Matt on Saturday and my best cousin Lea on Sunday. So I will be busy. Pics will be taken even though I hate pics of myself i'm sure theree will be some of me. Probably with a drink in my hand haha.
On the television front, the season premiers of my 2 current shows debuted this week. Both of them were AWESOME too.
Starting with NCIS...
It's one of the cooolest hours on televison, with that Paloma chick out after Gibbs and his loved ones.Lovved McGee being butted by the horse and in his own words' play Dudley Do-Right'' But he is waaaaaaay too skinny now. I agree with Lyndia and Chelle on that one.
Ziva's 'no tan lines' and the response from Tony were just funny as hell. You could see he was thinking about that.
By the way I love Gibb's dad 'he's just like me' Ain't that the truth Pa Walton ;) And of course the return of Mike Franks is always welcome as well. There little trick on Paloma in and her brother was an excellent con-job from start to finish. Awesome with Vance burying Abby's report as well. OUr NCIS uint is a tight group and one of the best casts on tv. Best kudos go to them using a Greg Laswell song at the end too, Too cool :D
Bravo to to NCiS for yet another bang up season premiere. It's not quite up there with 'Truth or Consquences' but it's close.
And notw to Finge
Usual typical mind-fuck going on there. It was totally awesome but with a tinge of sadness as well. Our Olivia has been implanted withe memories of the other one and has forgotten who she is, and what makes her her. Making me hate the other Walter that much more. She's trapped in that other world and has been convinced she's a totally different person. And the other Olivia, has taken her place in our world, fooling everyone including Peter, the man our Olivia loves. And who loves her, and at the moment has no idea that this imposter is no the woman he loves.
It makes me sad and scared because our identtiy is everything to us, and Olvia's has been stolen form her for nefarious purpsoses. I try to imagine what it would be like to have someone who looked just like me taking my life over and folling everyone without them knowing. Would they figure it out sooner or later. You'd have to hope that people would know you well enough to know the difference. It's a fictional show but it hits on the nature of identity quite well.
All I can say it shouth, it sets up the season nicely as well, and there is going to be hell to pay when the truth comes out...
Tha'ts it for me for now.. probably won't have another reoprt until next week. The weekend is going to be busy for me.
