According to Hollywood, "cow tipping" is a popular pastime among bored (and inebriated) Midwestern teens. Knowing Tinseltown's long-standing commitement to truth and accuracy, we were prepared to accept this as fact. But then we started investigating and discovered the curel and unusual hossby is more uban legend than reality.
In the movies, a cow is usually tipped by two drunkards in lettermans' jackets. A couple of researchers from the University of British Columbia did some calcuations and figured that tipping a cow would actually take a lot more force than a couple of sloshed jocks could generate. Specifically, it would require 4.43 people to push the cow's center of mass past the point of now return. In other words- it's technically possible, but a lot of work.
That's not to say we recommend the activity. At the risk of stating the obvious, it's not very nice to the cow, and there's a chance of hurting yourself in the process. For everyone's sake, just let ol' Bessie be.

Now after watching Tony Stewart pull a Cup win in Kansas out of his ass and what an awesome run by Mears Gang!!!!!!! Second for him and a nice top 10 for Dale Jr and Brian Lee Vickers!!! I'm going to eat dinner and settle infront of the TV to watch the hottest defensive end in the NFL Grant Wistrom beat the Chicago Bears :)
