What an intriguing post subject, amirite?
okay I'm making this post because my friend ivybgreenflower was interested in my matching app @HiH and so i've decided to post it, along with the voting numbers to my journal. And voting just ended so I'm doing it now.

What traits would you like your partner to have?
Funny- Humor is one of the most important things to me. I couldn't be happy with someone who isn't fun and playful. Because laughing is my favorite.
Intelligent- Intelligence is almost as important as humor. I don't need my partner to have a killer SAT score or a certain level of education, but I want him or her to be free thinking and informed and inquisitive and I want us to be able to have intelligent conversations, as well as silly ones. I don't need to be like my character and marry an insufferable know-it-all, but it is important that we be able to learn from each other.
Passionate- I want someone who is interested in stuff. Even if it's stuff that I don't care about. Because I'll inevitably be passionate about stuff they don't care about but I want them to be passionate about something. Because it's okay and it's important to care about stuff. Even if it's trivial or unrealistic, even if nobody else does.
Caring- I won't lie, I want to be cared about. I want someone who respects me and listens to what I have to say and at that we always at least attempt to understand each other. I want someone will put up with my bullshit, but can help me figure out when I need to stop putting up with my own bullshit.
Awesome- I'm a nerdfighter, which means I'm interested in people who are interested in decreasing the level of suck in the world and increasing the level of awesome.
What traits do you find annoying or a definite turn off?
Sucking- I don't mean like, being bad at things, I mean like sucking as a person. It turns me off when people increase the level of suck in the world, rather than try to deacrease it.
Arrogance- I'm using this as kind of an umbrella trait for anything involving a person thinking they are in and of themselves any better than another person. Because being made to feel less valuable for any reason sucks and I hate people who make me feel like that, and I do my best not to make other people feel that way. Arrogance is okay in small doses when the situation warrants but if it's ingrained in your personality, that turns me off.
Closed Minded- I'm not interested in living with someone who is completely set in their ways and isn't interested in looking at things from different perspectives. I don't have the time or the patience for people who don't have the consideration for me.
Bigotry- This one is pretty straightforward, I think.
There are more but I don't really feel like sitting here and rattling off a grocery list of qualities that bother me.

I don't really have any specific requirements in this area, because ideally the connection comes first and the romantic shit comes later. One thing that it's important for us to bond over is the unashamed enjoyment of childish/nerdy/silly/fun things.
Describe your ideal date?
I'll be honest, I've never been on a date, so I don't know much about how it works. I just want to do something that is fun for both of us and let us enjoy each other's company. I know this doesn't really happen in real life but I think on an ideal date we'd just be focused on enjoying ourselves rather than the stupid expectations of what you should and shouldn't do on a date. Also, I'd be really happy if there was boating involved. You know, if that's possible. I also like going to concerts and art galleries and street fairs.
Describe what your ideal relationship would be like?
Silly and dumb and understanding and funny and serious and emotionally honest. We would have fun together. We would be able to just be in each other's company without expecting one another to be perfect. But at the same time we would hold each other accountable for being good people. We would rely on each other. We would make fun of each other but we would know where the limits are and we would respect the shit out of each other. And sometimes things would get stupidly intense because relationships are supposed to be DYNAMIC!!!!!!!1 We wouldn't compromise things about ourselves that the other person finds strange or disagrees with, but rather we would be accepting of each other and learn to live with those things because we want one another to feel safe and loved and apprecaited. We would strive for equality in every aspect of our relationship. And as far as sex is concerned, that's something that we would figure out together. I think a lot of what i already mentioned applies to that anyway.
What are your physical preferences?
I like cute people who do cute things and are pretty!!! This is the only physical trend I've ever noticed in the people I am attracted to.

Not even a little bit.

I think that most people are a mixture of the two, and that we all are more introverted in some situation and more extroverted in other situations. Sometimes people who are often on the far end of extrovert tire me out, so I want someone who is balanced in this area.

I really need someone who can balance me out, because I'm a total hermit. I want someone who will encourage me to be social and who I can have a good time with but also it is important to me that they understand the value of OKAY-WE'RE-GONNA-SIT-HERE-AND-DO-JACK-SHIT-THE-ENTIRE-DAY time.
Brains/Beauty
Both. I can't be attracted to someone who doesn't value intelligence, but I also don't think I can fall in love with someone who I'm not physically attracted to. I don't think thats shallow I just think it's realistic.
Love/Lust
I think that in a high functioning relationship it is important that both of these things be present, but neither love or lust hold any lasting meaningfulness or significance unless there is also mutual respect between partners.
Romantic/Unromantic
Idk I've never really been able to take romance seriously. Maybe that's something I'll develop eventually. But also I don't really know what 'unromantic' means. I mean. My ideal relationship~~ is definitely not platonic.

It should be a team effort to Keep things interesting, but dependability is important.

I don't really understand this question because I don't think that irl people are heroes and villains. I think this question just exists to narrow down the characters you have to pick from and I don't know if I'm interested in making it that easy for you >:}

See, money is great, but I need someone who I can still live with even if we're up to our ears in debt.
